The Promontory Tuition

At The Promontory Academy, we believe families deserve exceptional value, real transparency, and a global standard of excellence. Our tuition is not only competitive compared to other online and private options — but the quality of education, guidance, and global readiness we deliver is simply night and day compared to typical programs.
As a truly international academy, we proudly align our access policies with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 10 (Reduce Inequality Within and Among Countries). For families whose country of citizenship and/or residence has a GDP Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) significantly lower than that of the United States, we offer a tuition adjustment to help ensure greater global accessibility. Eligibility is based on verified GDP-PPP data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and not all countries will qualify.
We offer three flexible enrollment tiers, designed to meet the unique needs and goals of each family. Families can choose between our Self-Paced DIY Program, our Self-Paced Program with Guiding Teacher Support, or our Self-Paced Program with Regular Teacher Check-Ins and Comprehensive Feedback. Each tier offers a different level of teacher interaction and support, allowing families to select the path that best fits their child’s learning style and their family’s educational goals.
Because tuition varies based on family choices and eligibility, we ask that interested families complete our Information Request Form on our homepage. This is your first step toward real engagement with our school community. We’re not trying to hide information — but real education, real opportunity, and real connection begin with a genuine conversation (not a sales pitch).
We are committed to full transparency: The maximum tuition anyone, anywhere, will pay in 2025 is $600 per month, and your tuition, at your elected service level, is locked for 12 months. Many families will pay less, depending on their selected tier and their eligibility for adjustments.

Enrollment Eligibility
The Promontory Academy currently accepts students entering 3rd grade through 9th grade. Our 9th grade (or Year 10) students will be able to continue with us through graduation.
We do not accept new students beyond 9th grade.
Our model is unique, and the foundation students build with us — starting in the earlier years — is essential for success in our high school program.
Students already enrolled prior to 10th grade will continue on the full academic journey with us, graduating with a globally accredited diploma and a portfolio that will set them apart. As a Member of COGNIA, we will hold ourselves to the highest standards. Full accreditation is expected in 2026.
Language Proficiency Requirement
The Promontory Academy operates in English. All students must demonstrate fluent or near-fluent English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
There is some latitude for competent yet still-emerging English in grades 3 through 5 (years 4 through 6) as we know daily exposure to academic English will benefit these students tremendously. However, we do NOT offer specialized English support (ELL/ESL/EFL).

Our flexible, global learning model allows students to move with purpose and independence, while staying connected to a team that knows their goals and helps them climb toward them.
In addition, students have access to secure, embedded meeting rooms where they can collaborate, build friendships, and work together — all within a student-safe environment with strictly limited access.
