Hi. My name’s Robert. I’m in my 33rd year in education, both at home and abroad. Los Angeles, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Knoxville, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, South Korea, the Republic of Georgia…..I have worked in the largest school system in the world, AP schools, Cambridge schools, publics and privates. I have also opened schools in places most have never heard of; in some of the largest cities in the world and in some of the smallest.

It’s no secret that teachers don’t do it for the money. I certainly never have. I’ve stayed in the profession because I love it. It’s all about the students for me. It’s all about the delivery of instruction – how to make it more meaningful, how to push the boundaries of what the system dictates when you know it’s not servicing the students, how to simply do it better — not just today, but tomorrow, and next week, and next year… for 33 years.

I sat down almost five years ago, still in the throes of the pandemic and in the very midst of the violent military overthrow of the government of Myanmar (Burma), to create a new model of education. This model was based on seeing throughout my career what was lacking, what simply wasn’t working, and how no one seemed capable of, or even interested in, truly fixing a bloated and archaic traditional system.

This dream has never about money. It has never been about flash or tricks or slickly-worded marketing ploys or gloss-overs of the same old school cliches. It is, and always will be, about the kids, and showing them what deep, meaningful education looks like and feels like. It has always been about wanting them to be excited to ‘get to school’.

I knew what a school had to look like to truly educate kids within the short time we have to educate them. And I did it. Myself. All of it. I have researched hundreds of articles. I have edified myself with coursework from the University of Jyväskylä University in Finland, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Stanford University, among others, and have taken training from some of the best orgs out there.

We now have an exceptional and experienced staff who loves this way of educating as much as I do. We keep our staff intentionally small. We are a lean, mean teaching machine. We work hard to keep tuition down because it is important to us that we are accessible to families across the board. This is simply part of our ethos. That’s why our tuition is the way it is – world-class education at a cost that many more families around the world can actually afford.
